Sometimes, usually after exertion such as coughing, sneezing or laughing, there is a small loss of urine. More common in the menopause.
1. Concept
Menopause. Is an alteration in the anatomical position of the urinary tract. The atrophic changes, loss of collagen and decreased muscle strength of the perineal area, end up affecting the entire restraint system of the uterus, bladder and rectum, favoring that an alteration in the anatomical position of these bodies (a “fall” of these organs).
If these factors, plus an increase in abdominal pressure, as with coughing, laughing or sneezing, or even in more severe cases, walking, changing position or simply standing, urinary incontinence arises. These losses of urine can be enhanced by a number of factors, described below.
2. Vaginal Delivery
Obstetric situation is more often associated with stress incontinence. A larger number of children the greater the likelihood of women suffering from this complaint in the future. Just shows stress urinary incontinence in nulliparous women.
